Hello.

Well, I showed my friend my blog and he told me that my pictures were getting better. That meant a lot coming from him, because it was actually him that inspired me to take up photography. It was when I held his Nikon D200 that I fell in love with photography. A week after our meeting, I purchased a DSLR for myself, not knowing what to do with it. It’s been over a year already and I think I’ve improved. To be honest, I’m a bit obsessed with it right now that I am willing to drive down to Muskoka or somewhere just to take pictures. I’d like to do that before winter starts. The other thing I want to do is to travel the world and take pictures of every beautiful place I see. I’ve started travelling last year, going to NYC, Washington, Atlantic City and Las Vegas; but since I wasn’t comfortable with photography yet I wasn’t able to take “good” pictures (which I really regret!). I am really hoping to visit those places again and take those pictures I’ve missed out on, and hopefully visit other places as well. As you can tell, I love photography & I love to travel so I’m going to put those two together. Wish me luck!

Good day.

Upcoming Events

Hello.

Well, I've been posting some pictures that I've taken recently, and I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some feedback on them to help me improve. Last Saturday, I went to Toronto Zoo & Dundas Square (Filipinos making Waves) with my bf, and I was able to take pictures. Some turned out really nice, but others didn't turn out the way I wanted them to be (which is okay...part of the process). Also, on Sunday, I did a little family photo shoot for my co-worker. I'd have to say that most of the pictures turned out really well. I'm really happy with how much I've improved, and I'm enjoying learning new things everyday with my camera. I'd like to believe that I can really get something out of my passion for photography. I'm excited what this new part of my life has in store for me (and I am hoping it is something good ha-ha) Anyways, I'm writing to let you in on what I'll be doing in the upcoming week/month.

Saturday August 29, 2009; I will be be taking pictures at the Fan Expo at the Metro Convention Centre for a website.

And in September, I will be having a family photo shoot. I've already booked a studio so I'm pretty excited about it. I'm happy that my family is 100% behind me on this, I just hope all goes well on that day.

Also, I'm really excited to get new accessories for my camera, which I'm hoping will be sooner than later.

I'm definitely on my way...
